The quick take

Choose the room that works for your everyday life. Compare the actual room, total monthly cost, commute, meals and house rules before you pay a deposit.

01The room

See the space you would actually use.

02The full cost

Count rent, deposit and extras.

03The routine

Check meals, rules and commute.

Start with your non-negotiables

Before looking at photos, decide what matters most. How many people are you comfortable sharing with? Do you need a private bathroom, air conditioning, a quiet study space or a particular meal schedule? Rank your top three needs so a nice-looking room does not distract you from them.

At Johri PG, boys and girls stay on separate floors at the same property in Shivaji Park. If you visit us, ask to see the room on the floor that fits your needs.

Compare the total cost

Ask for the price of the exact room and sharing arrangement you are considering. Then check what is included: meals, electricity, cooling, Wi-Fi, laundry and cleaning. A deposit, notice period or one-time charge can make two similar rents quite different.

Good question to ask

“What would I pay in the first month, and what would I pay in a normal month after that?”

Johri PG displays a room plan on the website. Confirm the current price and inclusions for your room directly before making a decision.

Try the daily journey

A location is convenient when it works at the times you actually travel. Check your route to college or work, including the walk to transport. Look at the approach to the property, nearby essentials and the journey home at your usual return time.

Johri PG is in Shivaji Park, Punjabi Bagh. Plan a visit and test the route for yourself.

See the room and learn the rules

Check the bed, storage, bathroom, ventilation, mobile signal and common spaces. Ask how many people share the room and bathroom. If a photograph shows a sample room, find out what differs from the one available to you.

Ask who manages the property, how visitor and entry rules work, and whom residents contact if they need help. The rules should suit your actual schedule. Our booking checklist puts the key questions in one place.

Check meals and upkeep

Find out how many meals are included, when they are served and how dietary needs are handled. Look at the dining area and bathrooms during your visit. Ask how often rooms and shared spaces are cleaned, and how repairs are reported.

Johri PG lists its amenities here. Confirm which facilities and arrangements apply to the room and floor you are considering.

Make a side-by-side choice

After each viewing, write down the same five facts: exact room, full monthly cost, commute, meals and house rules. Compare your notes while the visit is fresh. A second viewing is reasonable if any important detail is unclear.

A useful next step

Bring the questions to ask before booking on your visit. If you are looking at a girls’ PG, the girls’ PG safety and viewing checklist covers that floor in more detail.
